West Metro CCTV and PA system to be provided by Stanley Security Oy

Stanley Security Oy and Länsimetro Oy have signed an agreement on the contract to provide the CCTV and PA system for the West Metro. The total contract price is about EUR 3 million. The contract involves installing a CCTV surveillance and PA system at all West Metro stations and in the metro tunnels, and linking this system to the existing monitoring system at the control room in Herttoniemi.

“The CCTV and PA system form part of the overall security system of the West Metro. The tender was successful, and the supplier selected is internationally merited,” says Matti Kokkinen, CEO of Länsimetro Oy.

Länsimetro Oy is a company jointly owned by the Cities of Espoo and Helsinki, tasked with building the West Metro underground line from Ruoholahti to Matinkylä.
