Bus terminals

Länsimetro owns two bus terminals: Matinkylä and Espoonlahti. The bus terminals are important feeder traffic hubs in Espoo. The Matinkylä bus terminal was opened to the public in November 2017 at the same time as passenger traffic on the Ruoholahti–Matinkylä metro section began. The Espoonlahti bus terminal opened in February 2023, a few months after passenger traffic on the Matinkylä–Kivenlahti metro section began. Both bus terminals are conveniently located at transport and amenity hubs, in connection with shopping centres: the Matinkylä terminal in the Iso Omena shopping centre and the Espoonlahti terminal in the Lippulaiva shopping centre.

HSL is responsible for the commuter traffic arrangements, schedules, prices and information related to the feeder network and metro traffic. Commuters can see the buses, bus routes, schedules and platforms in the route planner.
