Superstructure construction of the Hyljetie shaft will commence

SRV Infra will commence the superstructure construction work of the Hyljetie shaft in week 22. The area will be fenced off and topsoil will be removed. Bored poling and earth excavation follow in weeks 24 and 25. Shaft excavation starts towards the beginning of July. At first the shaft will be excavated by open excavation and then through the tunnel below. Signals will be sounded to warn about the open excavation. The open excavation phase will last 3 to 4 weeks.

Further, in the area next to the shaft, excavated rock will be processed for onward transport.
The working hours in all the phases are Monday to Friday, 7.00 to 18.00.

The working hours:
Earth excavation Mon–Fri 7.00–18.00
Overground drilling and blasting Mon–Fri 7.00–18.00
Transport of earth and excavated rock Mon–Fri 7.00–18.00
Screening of excavated rock Mon–Fri 7.00–18.00

If work is done at other times, noise measurements according to the decision of Espoo Environment Department are required. The work will be done between Monday and Friday, 7.00 and 18.00
