Construction work on park and ride spaces will take off at the eastern entrance of the Urheilupuisto metro station along Jousenpuistonpolku in week 49 (starting 6 Dec). The work will start off with excavation work, followed by the installation of the bicycle racks and finally the concrete paving and finishing touches. During the construction work, the access routes along Jousenpuistonpolku will remain, but pedestrians and cyclists will be directed to circle the worksite along the wall of the parking house. The estimated duration of the construction work is 1–2 weeks. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the construction work.
Fifty-four bicycle parking spaces will be added in connection with the eastern entrance of the Urheilupuisto metro station, along Jousenpuistonpolku. The bicycle rack, in line with HKL’s range, is a model that enables the frame of the bike to be locked to the rack. The bicycle parking spaces will become available in December 2021.
