Summary of Länsimetro Oy’s meeting of the Board of Directors on 30 September 2021

The Project Manager submitted to the Board a status report on the construction and cost monitoring of the Matinkylä–Kivenlahti section through the war room’s monitoring view. Construction is progressing in line with the planned schedule and budget. Metro traffic is expected to start up on the new section during 2023. Test runs on the rail equipment began on 21 June, continuing with test runs on the metro cars in July and August. The test runs have proceeded according to plan. The testing of the interface between Matinkylä metro station and the new section was completed and approved in September. Testing is proceeding according to plan.

The Board of Directors decided to convene an Extraordinary General Meeting on 15 October 2021. The General Meeting’s agenda will include the election of Länsimetro Oy’s new Board members and the attendance fees of the Board members as of 1 August 2021.

Länsimetro Oy’s CFO presented the cost monitoring and budget for procurement decisions for the Matinkylä-Kivenlahti section. Construction is progressing in line with the project plan’s budget. The CFO also presented the 2022 budget proposal and 2023–2030 forecast for the operational phase.

The Communications Director presented the communications review and upcoming measures related to the commissioning phase.

The next meeting of the Board of Directors will be held on 27 October 2021.
