Testing of commuter safety systems is starting up at the Soukka metro station. The operation of the systems will be tested in emergency situations, such as fires in different parts of the station and power outages of various durations.
One test to be carried out on Monday 1 November, between 8 am and 4 pm, will also involve the fire alarm, which will cause noise in the metro station’s immediate surroundings.
During the tests, evacuation announcements will also be made over the PA system. It is possible that the announcements can also be heard outside the station between 8 am and 4 pm, from Monday 1 November until Wednesday 3 November.
