Kalliorakennus-Yhtiöt Oy will build the Kivenlahti station and realise the rail tunnel excavation contract. Excavation of the station and rail tunnels started in November 2015 and will be completed in July 2018.

Levelling work remains to be done in the passenger hall.

All excavation, bolting and shotcrete work has been completed in all rail tunnel sections, turnout chambers and service tunnels, and levelling of the floor is underway.

The station’s eastern and western entrances are ready.

Excavation and reinforcement of the Kauklahdenväylä shaft has been completed.

The construction works for the Kivenlahti station and the railway tunnels will begin in 2018.
