The station will act as the feeder traffic hub for the area, as direct bus connections to the centre of Helsinki will be replaced by the metro. After the completion of the metro, only one bus line from Lauttasaari to the city centre will continue in operation. Feeder traffic will also operate via Gyldenintie, which will mean that the entrance along Gyldenintie will be used by feeder traffic passengers in particular. Space for two standing buses has been reserved for the bus turnaround at Lauttasaarentie 25.
There will be approximately 30 park and ride spaces along Tallbergin puistotie. Up to 200 parking spaces are planned for the optional underground parking facility. Bicycle parking will be available at both entrances, with space for 130 bicycles in total.
