The metro is for everyone

The metro should be easy to use. High quality designs guarantee that even occasional travellers and tourists will be able to navigate the metro effortlessly. The metro should also be safe to use by persons with mobility disabilities and those who are visually impaired.

All spaces and functions will be designed to be accessible, easy-to-use and logical. Accessible routes will be constructed in connection with main entrances. Accessible routes will be marked with tactile patterns, which will serve as a guidance and warning system for the visually impaired. Audio signalling will also be provided for the visually impaired.

Improved usability and increased safety will be attained through sufficient lighting. Uninterrupted and illustrative signage will increase the comfort of travel.
