Länsimetro Oy complies with the Act on Public Contracts in its purchases. According to the Act, Länsimetro Oy must tender purchases exceeding the EU threshold values:
1) EUR 422,000 for purchases of goods and services; and
2) EUR 5,278,000 for purchases of construction contracts.
The European Commission reviews the threshold values every two years in accordance with Article 68 of the Public Procurement Directive and publishes the reviewed threshold values in the Official Journal of the European Union.
